There are only two main bus providers from Wicklow to Dublin:

There is only one route ran by Bus Eireann through Wicklow Town that being the 133. Although a state ran service Bus Eireann is highly unreliable and inconsistant with every bus running late and quite often buses just dont show up at all. Unfortunatly we have few choices but to accept the service as it is one of the only Public transport methods of commuting. It is also the one that runs most commonly with a bus nearly every 30 mins during the morning and every hour afterwards. They have several stops throughout Wicklow and the average time to travel to Dublin City is about 1 hour 30 mins depending on traffic. It quite often takes up to two hours to reach the city unfortunatly. Thus most regular commuters get the bus that is approximatly 2 hours before their desired arrival time to be on the safe side.

Wexford bus is the more reliable of the two bus options but unfortunately it make sonly one stop in Wicklow town. It also runs less often and is slightly more expensive thus it doesnt necessarily suit every commuter.
